GAP insurance is intended to protect a customer from the financial shortfall associated with their vehicle being written off and receiving only the market value settlement of that vehicle at that time from their comprehensive insurer.
Unlike many other GAP Insurance providers, ALA Insurance does not have a Market Value or Glass’s Guide Maximum Value Clauses.
They offer customers free policy transfers of any unused premium, allow 120 days in which to make a claim (instead of the standard 30 days) and are UK based and UK underwritten.
