David Moli is not from the usual artist background, he spent part of his life playing football.
He played for some of the biggest clubs such as Liverpool FC, but retired early because of injuries. So he hung up his boots, picked up a paintbrush (and spray can) and the rest, as they say, is history. He uses many different mediums, such as wheat paste to stick the paper onto the canvas, acrylics paint, and spray paint. For him, each idea manifests in its own individual style.
Jean-Michel Basquiat is one of the reasons David decided to pursue a career in art that was ahead of his time, the way he combined colours together and the messages were exceptional.
